When our little girl spoke words that blew us away</div>

With a "as-a-matter-of-fact" tune, she said<br />
"Papa, you only do two things here at home,<br />
You change clothes and turn off the lights."<br />
<br />
One day, I hope our kids will know<br />
That papa does more things and not just two<br />
He changes clothes so he can toil the soil and provide for us<br />
And turn off the lights to hide his weary body and let it pass.<br />
<br />
You may not see him long enough everyday<br />
But his thoughts are with us even if he's far away.<br />
It pains him when he left for work without your byes<br />
Even more when he comes home with your closed eyes.<br />
<br />
If he wraps his heavy legs on you two<br />
Don't complain, instead hug him tight and give him what he's due<br />
If he teases and make fun of you<br />
Laugh with him, so you won't miss it when you grow.<br />
<br />
Thank the Lord above, for He gave you a father like him<br />
A father of few words who stands firm on everything he says<br />
Even if it meant for you learning the hard ways.<br />
And this I'm sure, not even a pot of gold can make him look sideways<br />
For he's soul and heart will forever lead back home to us<br />
Even if it meant always chasing the last Ceres bus.<br />

This sound is defenitely not the clock<br />
Raindrops start to pour down atop<br />
While my bed is inviting me not to get up.<br />

Get up, get up, get up<br />
Kitchen's waiting for me to prepare the meal<br />
But I thought it's Sunday<br />
Can I just have it all to me?<br />
<br />
With still a sleepy head, I rose<br />
Thinking what food would I cook<br />
It'd be great to have a hot soup<br />
But I'd prefer a morning hot choco sip.<br />

Not for a long while, I hear noise all over the house<br />
Hubby's online gun firing squad cracking every single mouse<br />
Screaming two toddlers running after each other's chase<br />
While having fun on Eep the mouse's face.<br />
<br />
Standing at the kitchen,there I behold<br />
This noisy Sunday my memory would forever hold.<br />
It could be nice if the pouring rain wipes this house's noise<br />
On second thought, I'd rather keep them plus the scattered toys.<br />

Can I have this rainy Sunday all to me?<br />

This is what makes our Life Unfair.<br />
You have to go with the flow.<br />
Or stop and go drown.<br />

Struggles, pain, hardships,<br />
These are all part of life.<br />

I Need a Part Time Job

As I watch the storm outside.<br />
I can say that it is perfect weekend to end the Summer.<br />

On Monday will be the first day of school.<br />
But here I am today in front of my computer.<br />
Looking for a part time job to earn some extra cash.<br />
<br />
My wife is preparing some requirements for school.<br />
And thinking to pack a snack.<br />
A slice bread with peanut butter.<br />
As my daughter is excited for her first day of school.<br />
<br />
My one year old son is roaming around the house.<br />
Singing twinkle twinkle little star.<br />
They look very happy together with her older sister.<br />
<br />
I am thinking how nice to be a child.<br />
No dish to wash.<br />
No expenses to budget.<br />
No need to think the dish for dinner.<br />
No problems to solve.<br />
<br />
As I check in my wallet.<br />
Only a thousand peso left.<br />
Worried if I can still budget it for one week.<br />
(Few hours later the electricity bill just arrived.)<br />
I may have a hundred of problems.<br />
But I am not affected.<br />
Because I know there's a thousand of solutions.<br />
<br />
And I am doing this not for me.<br />
But for the future of my son and daughter.<br />
So here I am today in front of my computer.<br />
Thinking "I need a part time job".
